  1. Yeah for the purpose of the above I am including RuneQuest and OpenQuest I'm my definition of BRP.
  2. Thanks Mankcam! i will go ahead and pickup volume 2 as I am more into modern / military style weapons. My BRP collection keeps growing!
  3. Mankcam, I haven't read the PDF yet but maybe you know the answer... If I buy the Investigator's Weapons Volume 2 do you think it will have a lot of redundant stuff also found in the case officer's book? After reading the reviews last night for Investigator's Weapons I am sorely tempted but I want to resist unless there is good reason :-) Thank you!
  4. Thanks a lot nclark (Nigel correct?)! I will PM you my email address.
  5. Thanks I will check it out. I have hear good things about it before.
  6. Thanks! I have already backed the Kickstarter for the case officers book. Probably be a while before I get it though!
  7. Does anyone have a copy of the Android Creation Rules for Cthulhu Rising that they can email me? I went to http://www.cthulhurising.co.uk but the site doesn't seem to be up any longer. Thanks!
  8. Awesome! Thanks so much!
  9. So I am getting pretty good with Magic World and have used it for a couple of genres now. However I am about to play a modern game and the question has come up about automatic weapons (M16, AK47, etc...). Does anyone have SIMPLE, EASY rules for firing guns that can shoot multiple shells per round? What do you guys recommend? I saw on the Internet that rules are apparently included in CoC but I don't have those books. Anybody? PS - The game we are about to play is styled after X-Files and uses the Alternity Dark Matter setting? Anyone here ever done an X-Files type game?
  10. Thanks Chaot. I think I am going to go ahead and pick up Legends of Steel for BASH (Since I have BASH Ultimate Edition) and then try to convert it over. If I make any progress I will post it here.
  11. Updated Swords of Cydoria of info: - BRP Mecha (Out of print, not available) - BRP Space (Available) - Chronicles of Future Earth (Out of print, not available, fantasy & science fiction) - Cthulhu Rising (Available) - End Time (Available) - Fractured Hopes (Available) - Jovian Nightmares (Available) - Luther Arkwright (Available) - Mission to Epsilon (Available) - Once Men (Available) - Operation Ulysses (Available) - Other Suns (Out of print, not available) - Outpost 19 (Available) - Ring World (Out of print, not available) - River of Heaven (Available) - Rubble and Ruin (Available) - Star Wars (RQ6) (Available from holders of the PDF) - Swords of Cydoria (Available - Fantasy / Science Fiction) - Worlds Beyond (Out of print, not available) Note the only one of these available in print is River of Heaven.
  12. Ooooh I like the idea of a black digest with silver writing...
  13. This was educational! Apparently the whiff factor has multiple meanings. Who would have thunk :-)
  14. Okay the current list of Science fiction titles written for BRP include: - BRP Mecha (Out of print, not available) - BRP Space (Available) - Chronicles of Future Earth (Out of print, not available) - Cthulhu Rising (Available) - End Time - Fractured Hopes (Available) - Jovian Nightmares (Available) - Luther Arkwright (Available) - Mission to Epsilon (Available) - Once Men (Available) - Operation Ulysses (Available) - Other Suns (Out of print, not available) - Outpost 19 (Available) - Swords of Cydoria (Available) - Ring World (Out of print, not available) - River of Heaven (Available) - Rubble and Ruin (Available) - Star Wars (RQ6) (Available from holders of the PDF) - Worlds Beyond (Out of print, not available) Just like Mysterioso said I thought Chaosiu was going to discontinue the monographs. Maybe they have changed their minds or at least decided to continue to sell the PDFs.
  15. I checked Chaosium's website and some (but not all) of the monographs are still for sale. I suspect that they will be discontinued as they sale out.
  16. Thanks for all the aswers guys. I thought hit locations were in lieu of general hit points but now know better. I have the RQ6 book, I just need to read it.
  17. Excuse the dumb question. I have only played Magic World and have no experience with RuneQuest, why would you need both general hit points and hit locations? How does that work?
  18. Does anyone know if the new RQ will have options for general hit points or will it be hit locations?
  19. Okay so we have: - BRP Mecha (Out of print, not available) - BRP Space (Available) - Chronicles of Future Earth (Out of print, not available) - Cthulhu Rising (Available) - Luther Arkwright (Available) - Mission to Epsilon (Available) - Operation Ulysses (Available) - Outpost 19 (Available) - Ring World (Out of print, not available) - River of Heaven (Available) - Rubble and Ruin (Available) - Star Wars (RQ6) (Available from holders of the PDF) - Worlds Beyond (Out of print, not available) I thought there was a fan-made version of Jovian Chronicles? Is that accurate? What about Jovian Nightmares does it need to be on the list? What about Fractured Hopes or Swords of Cydoria? Do they qualify as science fiction?
  20. What science fiction supplements have been written for BRP/RuneQuest? I saw a thread on this site long ago asking the same thing but I can't find it. What I know of includes: - BRP Space - Cthulhu Rising - Jovian Chronicles - River of Heaven - Star Wars (RQ6) - Worlds Beyond What else?
  21. As you may know Legends Of Steel details the low magic, sword and sorcery themed world of Erisa. Has anyone converted this to Magic World?
  22. I am sure Glorantha is great but I agree... It wasn't long ago when the magic world area was the most busy on the site.
  23. That makes two of us. I already have Pete's Rome for BRP. Sell me Mythic Greece and I will be a happy man. ps - Pachristian you might want to look out for "Before Iron" from Nocturnal. It's also supposed to be a mythic Greece type sourcebook and it is supposed to come out this year...
