  1. Sorry, i am not an illustrator, just a GM and collector with an opinion. I idea sounds awesome at first read. But i have my doubts. A lot of people can´t remember each product they already have, and remember them by topic, author, or especially by cover picture. In your case ALL of them would be topic Pavis, author Ian Thompson, and if the cover looks very identical a lot of people might not by all volumes of your work because they might think they already own it. Have a look at the 4 Thieves World adventures by FASA (Traitor, TheBlue Camel, The Spirit Stones and Dark Assassin). They all look the same, and i know i miss ONE of them, but i can´t remember wich one.
  2. Just add that as a fourth option. The answer is still: YES, to all of them!
  3. Is Mastakos another name for Orlanth, when he represents Movement? Is Mastakos Orlanth charioteer? Is Mastakos the name of Orlanths chariot? To all three the answer is: YES, this is right!
  4. 1. The Underworld is not what it used to be: After Yelm got slain the Sun was in the Underworld and the surface world was dark. So the trolls fled Wonderhome (their part of the Underworld) to esape being burnt by the sun. On the surface world they found that most creatures are inferior to them (Mistress Race trolls) and so the surface world had plenty of good food to offer. After Olanths Lighbringers Quest the Sun was not brought back to the surface world but is half the time on the surface world and half of the time in the underworld. If there is no difference if you are on the surface world or in the underworld regarding enduring the sun, then why the hell should the trolls move back to the underworld where less yummy food is around? INSIDE the world (above the underworld, but below the surcace word) is the troll "paradies", which can be reached via the Castle of Lead, and by other means. But there STILL is more yummy food on the surface world.
  5. I am sure that Dario has ALL the artwork he has done in his files. DON`T use the same cover on all books. Use the (coloured) original cover, but make sure that the layout of the cover makes clear that these books belong together: Same font, size, colour, position, etc. I agree that it will be no prpoblem if the style of the cover of the 2nd Age booklet will differ from the rest of the series, but also this should use the same cover style in font, colur, etc.
  6. My advice: Go with old covers, but (if time permits) let get them coloured by Dario. Give the whole line the same cover layout.
  7. Aces High was a BRP Monograph, and Chaosium very recently announced that the Monograph-Line is discontinued. If the author(s) want to keep this title available, it has to be reissued in the Miskatonic Resository.
  8. Leika, Naimless, and Asborn are EXCEPTIONS, not the Runelevel norm.
  9. D&Ds "Castle Amber" I set it in Lovecrafts Dreamlands. Can say i adapted it; i used it as an entry point for more adventures in Averoigne (i adapted some CAS stories my players never heared of, i used Jekyll & Hyde, and a sorcery version of Frankenstein there also).
  10. Aldrami are vegetarians. Aldrami bodies are plant matter. I am sure there are conflicts between different Aldryami groups/forests (now or in the past). Would an Aldryami eat the corpse of an other Aldryami? Would an Aldryami KILL an enemy Aldryami for food?
  11. Ein Neuer Blogeintrag steht auf Startnext bereit: https://www.startnext.com/m-space/blog/beitrag/ende-februar-m-space-statusbericht-p98195.html
  12. + there is the "M-Space Companion" that includes rules for Computer and Hacking, Cyberware, Roberts and Droids (and playing Robot characters!) Originaly intended to be able to play a d100 Traveller, now you can emulate: - Traveller - Space marines (Starship Troopers, Aliens, Space Above and Beyond...) - Space Exploration (Star Trek, Orville...) - Science Fantasy (Star Wars, John Carter, Flash Gordon...) - Cyberpunk - Shadowrun For some settings you might need to add the Mythras Corebook and/or After the Vampire Wars.
  13. 1. (as someone who is been into geneology for 12 years): 54 Generations (30 years per generation from Dawn to 1620) = ~ 18.000.000.000.000.000 ancestors. Statistically every gloranthan that has ever lived is one of your ancestors. But because of pedigree collapse there are many people in your ancestry that are in multiple positions of your family tree. That is totally normal. 2. (as someone that has read almost everything gloranthan... but unfortunately can´t remember every detail... especially not the source of some things i have in mind): Do some cultures in Glorantha beive that they reincarnate at some point? If the soul of your ancestor has already reincarnated, then he is somebody new now, and can´t be contacted any more. (Have i read it somewhere, or is my memory corrupted by chaos?)
  14. Will sooooo much RQG books in the pipeline you should ALWAYS try to have some geek money in reserve. 🙂
  15. I am hyped about LotMS! I would LOVE to playtest it as a GM. I have already four of my friends that would love to play this with me.
  16. 1979 or 1615 depends, if you are asking in game or real life
  17. That hasn´t stopped Greg from having the Humakti a child: Alebard Elffriend and his wife Eril Silksword had a daughter (born in battle!).
  18. Is there a PDF only option available somewhere?
  19. RQG page 202, second paragraph: "While the actual chance of hitting remains no better than 95% (due to rolls of 96–00 failing), the chance of a special or critical success continues to increase or decrease, based on the final modified chance of success. As with other skills or abilities, the final modified value is always the one used to determine the chance of special or critical successes, as well as fumbles. Thus, a Wind Lord with a 150% sword skill has a 30% of a special success, and an 8% chance of a critical hit." Your special and critical is NOT reduced with the skill reducion.
  20. That was corrected in a later issue of Wyrms Footntes to 1598.
  21. Everything we know of the Fourth Age is what "King of Sartar" tells us. We don´t know who Harshax is, and where the realm of Harshax is, and how big this realm is. Maybe Harshax is a Belintar or Red Emperor like figure, ruling a vast Empire in Central Genertela, and what it is written in "King of Sartar" is true for all/most of whole Glorantha. But maybe Harshax is only a Ethilrist or Solanthos Ironpike like figure, ruling a small isolated pocket in some minor region of Glorantha, and all that is written about in "King of Sartar" is only true for this small unimortant region. The Fourth Age is what YOUR HEROES change the Third Age into.
  22. It WAS two to three month after the files were send to the printer. But that was before Covid screwed up everything. Now we are lucky if it "only" takes four to five month. So: Mid 2022
  23. For people that want their Orlanthi in RQ3 or Hero Wars style, and are not good in painting miniatures:
