  1. Surely not the first human heroquest, just the first human Lightbringers' heroquest? This is mentioned later in the guide too (p.278). Arachne Solara, right?
  2. I'm pretty sure that it's a video play that @Ian Cooper was thinking of doing for HQ.

  4. Interesting. I see that it does have an entry in the index under "Eeast", but doesn't occur elsewhere in the Guide.
  5. p.135 - 2nd column, 1st para, "engulfed Jrusteli" should be "engulfed Jrustela" or "engulfed the Jrusteli". p.135 - Timeline box, 775 second entry, "Eeast" should presumably be "East". p.140 - last line of 3rd column, "In 1245 began a series of battles began" should be "In 1245 a series of battles began". p.142 - last para of 1st column, "noblewomen" should be "noblewoman". p.144 - Timeline box, 1582 first entry, "along coast" should be "along the coast".
  6. I hate to be a party-pooper, but what makes your heroes think they stand any chance of coming into contact with part of the Devil and not being at the minimum driven insane, or more likely just instantly killed? This sounds like only something that the very most powerful of Heroes/demigods would stand any chance at.
  7. This is getting boring now, @Darius West, go and troll somewhere else please.

    Heroquests

You can quite easily create some Uz heroquests. Just read up on some of the Uz myths (e.g. the Guide to Glorantha, Trollpak) and see what the Uz gods did. Hey presto you have some heroquest ideas!
  9. @Rick Meints Any chance of fixing this easily, please? Or would it be a big job?
  10. Not only is it "for HQG but easily adaptable for RQ", it's also - wow, just wow!
  11. I'm asking if the original PDFs could be uploaded for those books, assuming they already exist. I'm not expecting the rulebooks to be recreated if they don't already exist in PDF (though I think they do), and I don't expect any conversion to HQG. Yes, I would expect people to pay for them (it's unlikely I'd pay for the PDF myself, given that I already have hard copies). I'm not asking for any editing, conversion, etc, just a simple upload (if they exist) to the online Chaosium store.

    Heroquests

Just found another heroquest in The Eleven Lights - Three New Stars. The Eleven Lights looks totally amazing. My jaw keeps dropping as I flick through it (haven't had time to read it properly) and I see what kind of stuff is in it.
  13. You keep trying to impose RQ mechanics onto HQ game situations, which isn't going to work. As Ian Cooper said (over on G+, I think), Gloranthans don't think "I'm going to use 2pt Countermagic", that's just a rules construct for RQ. HQ has completely different rules constructs.

    Heroquests

Some of those listed quests are ones that Uz might perform, e.g. the Hill of Gold is used by various cults in their own versions, including Zorak Zoran.
  15. That looks like some pretty powerful magic that's about to be unleashed.
  16. My thinking is that they can use engines (in the mechanical/magical sense), but for something big it's a lot simpler and takes less effort on their part just to harness some creatures to do it.

    Heroquests

I added a few TotRM quests. Mr Metcalph has made it look the page look a lot nicer now too.

    Heroquests

I've made a start. Still a lot more to be done. See http://glorantha.wikia.com/wiki/Heroquest
  20. @Rick Meints any chance that some of these older PDFs could be uploaded, assuming you still have them? I understand if you don't have the PDFs and would need to recreate them, but I imagine you already have HQ:RiG. Thanks.
  21. I believe that HeroQuest: Roleplaying in Glorantha was originally available in PDF form. So I would hope that it could be made available again at some point. As you say, it's worth having just for the adventures (which include a heroquest - Heavy Earth).
  22. Just one example of where the Sartar Companion can help a GM with The Eleven Lights is in the Flight From The Bat scenario. You get a much fuller description of the Bat's passage through Sartar in SC. There are a *lot* of references to SC through TEL. Honestly, if you're at all interested in Sartar then you should get the Sartar Companion. It gives a lot more information on Sartar that simply didn't fit in S:KoH.
  23. I came across them for the first time in The Coming Storm, and I don't really understand them (particularly their benefits).
