First thing . I am a John Wyndham fan. That being said , the Triffids being plants Crits and hit locations are kind of mute. Would take a lot to stop them. Except for aimed shots to the head which was fairly easy to do in the book. My choice of hide out in a Zombie apocalypse would be a Grain elevator.. First you have concrete walls that are 5 to 10 foot thick. They are a Hundred or so feet high so good visibility over the local area.. And if you are lucky ,plenty of food , although corn meal might get boring after awhile.

I have all the above. What did NOT get transferred was the named demons ,although you can build them all using advance sorcery.

Hard to find, but the Bronze Grimoire has a good selection of Demons. I have a bound Guardian Demon protecting my copy.

Also there the Cohors equitata, Roman units that mixed cavalry and infantry. Also early German and Scottish cavalry fought in mixed units with each horseman having a light infantry man who fought with them. I thought the Draoons might be similar to those. Guess I get annoyed because more then a few fantasy game toss the term Dragoon around cause its sounds cool, not knowing its meaning.

Main thing I know about Delecti is he a former Godslearner who escaped being drowned or hunted down and a former member of the Empire of wyrms friend who escaped being eaten by a dragon. He is a slippery SOB for sure.

I never have had any real problems using source books and scenarios from one edition to another. Main thing to look at is armor values change from different editions Plate I think goes from 6 pts to 8 points in value). and of course sorcery .

Not sure if Delecti is a Vampire. Then again not sure if anyone really knows what he is. I think Lich of some sort might be more accurate

Im going to commit heresy here and state I never been happy with the Official information about the Lunar Army for couple of reasons. Should start by mentioning before I started role playing , I was a miniatures gamer and still Have HOTT?DMM armies around. First is the use of the term Dragoon by several Lunar units. For those who don't know Dragoon where named after a early fire arm(Dra Gunne) they used. So unless the Lunar Emire has an understanding with the Moatali , I doubt if they are using guns. Second was the use of Scimitar by most troops .. The scimitar is a cavalry weapon so no problem there. But heavy foot would want somethingmore hamdy and easier to swing in a formation.. For that a Greek style Kopus or Falcatta makes more sense and they have that curved blade look that Lunars love. Last is the percentage of cavalry in the army. For an army that supposed to rely on closed order foot, they have a cavalry percentage equal to many horse nomad armies.

I do remember reading his Mother was a Dryad but forget from where. Races in Glorantha are not supposed to interbreed , except for Broo and a few special cases, except with powerful magic. Delecti is said to know such magic, but I would prefer not to talk to him.

One thing I would ask is how does that effect those that live outside the mainstream of society like Etta, the Yakuza and of course Ninja?

There was a famous battle in China where the Chinese where fighting some Southern Barbarians. The Chinese general sent two dancing girls to dance nude on top of a hill while his army moved around the flank of the Barbarians. I read about it in armies and enemies of Ancient China by Wargames research group( I also miniatures gamer) And Wargame research group does a pretty good job at research .

To be honest I would just lie a list of all the different magic system. And which books use system that are similar to each other. I Know of the three system in the Magic book( spirit, Divine, and a type of Sorcery) , The ones similar to them in Open quest , Mongoose and RQ6, Mysticism in RQ6 and , the Magic and sorcery system in the Gold book, Rune magic in Advanced sorcery, and Enlighten Sorcery are the ones I know of.

I also don't mind the bare breast in the Gloranthan web comic as its done for story. Heck , a picture of some Babeestor Gor warriors wearing nothing but an Ax, shield and helmet and a desire to kill would be OK as the Gauls fought like that. But the chain mail Bikini, ,The female warrior wearing a thong and stockings, etc. I don't think belongs in Modern gaming.

My two bolgs. It is one thing for the evil sorceress to dress as if she in Victoria secret show. She is in her Lair. Or if a Earth Priestess want to show off her Motherhood and be bare chested. But the Earth Priestess should also be shown as a Grandmother, not some 18 year old as you don't get there overnight. But for your female adventurer who have to deal with thorn bushes, stinging insects, etc, I would expect to see them dressed more practical, not as if they are going to get the loot by dancing on a brass pole.

Both the fruit and the pads of the Prickly pear Cactus are sold in stores around here as Human food. The pads are a staple food in some areas of Mexico

Clockwork and Chivalry is set at the time of the English Civil War(1645) So should have the blackpowder weapons you need. Its on my NEED TO BUY list so I don't own it yet and cannot say more.

While traders and other could bring and introduce new plants to Prax and almost certainly have, Certain rare plants might require special Magical conditions not understood by Mortals.

I think having a few plants and animals that dominate the majority of the waste is OK. But then you could also have a rare plants and animals that have limited range. A Blood red flower that only grows at Tourney alter or a Herb that only grows at the Well Of Eriniala . Or a beetle that nest only on the tops of Condors Crag. And of course these rare plants and animals are the ones you really, really need for making magic potions and the like. This would both fit in real life ecology and for a magical world setting

One place I put Giant termites is on the shores of Prax.. W know the Prax Plateau drops sharply when it gets near the coast and there a swamp all along the coast of Prax filled with disease carrying insect. But outside of Corflu not much is said about it. So I filled the area with giant insects and Broo. Hmm, If a Broo was able to rape a Giant Termite Queen and it resulted in one of the Rare Female Broo what would happen
