sdavies2720
I don't know if this is what you're looking for: On DriveThruRPG there are two versions of hawkmoon. I can't tell who the authors are, but maybe one of those is what you're looking for. They are listed under Mongoose, which I think is a result of a deal between Chaosium and Mongoose based on Mongoose's Moorcock license. Stve Quote Bathalians, the newest UberVillians! Stve I can only see the original Chaosium version on there, not my monograph. Chaosium commissioned me to rewrite Hawkmoon in a similar vein to Elric!, which I did, but fot a whole host of reasons (see the interview I did with Binder on the Stormbringer RPG site) it never saw publication. So, I stripped out a lot of the rules and Chaosium published it as a monograph not very long before the license went to Mongoose. I'd be a bit peeved if the monograph was on Drivethru because I never got paid for it. Quote The Design Mechanism: Publishers of Mythras

Yep, there are only the original, not exactly well edited Chaosium version by Kerie Campbell-Robson and the later Mongoose version, but not your monograph. Merak Gren
By the time I heard of Loz's Hawkmoon, it was all over. Shame it didn't work out well. I picked up the Mongoose version, but being so grey, its hard to read. I have very fond memories of the first one, warts and all. Had a lot of milage from it and it was hard to go back to SB, since my players were very fond of their flame lances. Not sure what the state of play is with the licence now, since the most qualified person to do a Multiverse / Eternal Champion RPG has left Mongoose. Quite tempted to run an Elric game using HeroQuest and run a dream as a HeroQuest. Quote Likes to sneak around 115/

Marcus Bone
Hi All! Just a note to say that - after way too long - I've not only completed the update to the stormbringerrpg.com site (well mostly), but also uploaded some new content; an interview with Malcolm Wolter of the 'Herald of Doom; fanzine fame, and an EoM adventure by Dean Paolillo (yes I know Hell must be freezing over ) In regards to the future of the site, I'm looking at extending its support to Mongoose's Eternal Champion editions* in addition to the older Chaosium ones (although these remain my favourite). As you all likely know, Mongoose no longer holds the EC license, and while I'm not able to reproduce any of the out-of-print material from any of the publishers (I asked Mr Moorcock's agent about this directly), I'll continue to hunt out new content when and where I can with your help! Cheers! Marcus * - BTW, I'm happy to host Magic World content as well, if there's an interest. Marcus Bone
Just a note to say that after the most recent update to Wordpress, my old theme (the one I worked so hard one :P) is no longer compatible. I've defaulted it so at least something shows, but I'll be moving ahead shortly with another revamp (although I'm seriously looking at moving hosts between now and doing any real work).Marcus 2 Quote Stormbringer! - Exploring the worlds of the Eternal Champion at http://www.stormbringerrpg.com Unbound Publishing - Bringing back the fear - http://www.unboundbook.org DCtRPG.info - Supporting Dark Conspiracy across the decades - http://www.darkconspiracytherpg.com
Marcus Bone
Hi All, Probably encouraged by Dirk the Dice's podcast, I've finally got around to updating the Stormbringerrpg.com website*. Don't go expecting new content (except a link to the Dirk's podcast), but I've given it a whole new look and feel (using a intriguingly named Wordpress theme called 'Lovecraft')! Marcus * - I've sure some of the links and images are still broken, but I'll slowly fix those over time... Dirk_the_Dice
Great to hear that the podcast inspired the face-lift. It's been great hearing from people who are discovering STORMBRINGER for the first time by listening. I've been surprised by the number of people who are not familiar with Moorcock. Revisiting the game and discovering some of the great scenarios for the first time (The Black Sword is fantastic) as made me want to play the game again on a regular basis. It's good to know that there are still people keeping the flame alive!

Marcus Bone
I've plastered everywhere else, so why not here - 😀 Hi All! It was my pleasure to recently interview John R. White, the last author to have material officially published during Mongoose Publishing's, intense, but short lived, foray in the worlds of the Eternal Champion.  You can read more over at http://www.stormbringerrpg.com/?p=2270  Marcus  Edited June 10, 2018 by Marcus Bone 3 Quote Stormbringer! - Exploring the worlds of the Eternal Champion at http://www.stormbringerrpg.com Unbound Publishing - Bringing back the fear - http://www.unboundbook.org DCtRPG.info - Supporting Dark Conspiracy across the decades - http://www.darkconspiracytherpg.com
