Hey Loz some of us our going blind and I for one can not read a single one of the covers you have on there. If you want to sell to anybody above 20 you might want to use a higher res that will take to resizing or use text.

Sorry Qizilbashwoman but I am afraid I will have to agree, magic does not make Glorantha a paradise, and not do any damage. I would say for every bonus there might be due to magic there could well be an equal weal (also due to magic), in fact on a world that was destroyed by a war of the Gods (let me repeat that; was destroyed....) and with a little chaos thrown on for garnish , hell it was invaded not just by the devil but all his horde and more besides. Today (after an heroic and mythic effort by all the remaining gods and goddesses) at best it is still considered broken, It holds on by a thread, well a spiderwebby thread but a thread nonetheless.I will postulate it could actually be far worse, but that is where the heroes come in.... cheers

Mongolian pop, wow! I have been listening to Thuvan throat singing for years so that was interesting. Probably too ‘"sweet” for most and wow does to it ever follow the chinese pop love of reverb... but interesting.

Yeah, good call. It is incredibly frustrating to be used to playing one of the best RPGs on the planet to having it taken away because... I will not go into it, It really is heartbreaking... It has been covered to death, only to have it come back just before you die (this is not hyperbole, its biggest and most loyal fans are getting older and we all know where this ends...) only some parts are nerfed. Frustrating... I have great hopes as the boys and girls involved in bringing it back seem quite good, the game is still phenomenal for the most part... and the tribe has always been one of the Chaosium’s greatest strengths. But you do have a good habit of seeing the nuts and bolts of a problem, and in this case, ya nailed it. Cheers

I was thinking maybe that new game all he kids are playing nowadays that is so nicely balanced twixt the monsters and the PCs. What is it called.... oh yeah, that’s it... Call of Cthulhu....

Oh, I don’t know Qizilbashwoman, seems to me that g33k just showed that RQ can handle that quite well. And considering the deadlines of RQ 3 (which I have to turn to cause with 20 or so years experience vs a handful of RQ G games...). I ran a lot of games with much dice rolling of skills and much fun and with no whiff of combat, Good times

I think RQ 3 comes out about the best that I have seen for non lethal (usually, it is still LimbRuneQuest after all). I have high hopes for RQ G.

Granted but at a 250 Crowns (might I suggest Crowns for the new silver) as a buy in for one mistaken farmer death, Im I will take the odds that might keep the farmer alive, befuddle, stolen elven Whipsticks, holding a musket on him and saying”HOLD”, grapples, what have you...

We need some good non lethal combat for sure... hand to hand, grapple, Knock back ( I believe we are missing the last two?), I mean we now have subdued and I think I saw attacking a weapon to disarm as well, but in this game where killing the wrong farmer could cost you the income of 5 cottars, well, I for one I want to know that there is always another option. Well then that leaves it at one or two on average for a young adult Joe Orlanth seeing as an initiate needs one 1RP at least to join and 3 is a little extraordinary... adventurous, dare I say, ... perhaps instead of 12 at the age of 50 we create a ratio of old Joe Orlanth having at least a third up to two thirds of the Joey Adventurous’ RPs` so... 4 or 8 at that same age of 50... And of course, for important NPCs I will cusomize the stats to meet the story’s need. Cheers

Well the number of spirts one can bind are limited by CHA and crystals are as common as blood from gods who have been bleeding in a God War. And one can have an unlimited amount of them (I believe).Mind you lordabdul has found them rather lacking considering the circumstances. Matrices, are a bit more useful when one can not find crystals, but of course you have to create them, so...
