Is it just me or are people getting more and more testy here a-bouts. I used to truly enjoy coming to BRP central for an enjoyable conversation or even a debate. People were polite and mostly respectful to others rights< I ask for a spoiler tag and people go nuts, Folks are calling each other out over small details. There is only give and take from the best of folk. I mean either the moon has gone full permanently bringing out all the looniness or there is an American Election coming (only way to explain the nastiness and polarization)

Saw the same thing but decided to give Qizilbashwoman’s comment a like anyway. Just because it is a new thing that trans folk are taking it back or that some do not know/think it is a slur or for any of a a dozen reasons that people argue that the word is not negative, if one person is harmed by it, all are harmed. I do believe an injury to one is an injury to all. As per their (?) request, I will not be using the term in any way shape or form to refer to trans folk. As per a few other's comments, sorry for the thread drift... cheers

I hate to say this, but I brought this up a while back. To me chaos, plain and simple, is anything that contributes to the unmaking of Glorantha. By definition, the opposite of stasis; much as it was before Glorantha and what it wishes (lusts) to return to (I called it entropy last time, but that caused problems).

Yes, this is pretty much what I said. Sounds like we agree.

I see no reason to restrict an allied spirit to its allied Rune Priest or Lord's runes, other then common sense when it comes to casting of spells in the choice of runes (there are still a lot of runes to be chosen), and ease in integrating the characters of Rune Level adventurer and allied Spirit. I can think of one reason to not; if the personality’s clash a little it would add a dynamic tension between the two beings. From a story point this can be a bonus. If this is true, I wonder what the initial rune percentages would be, perhaps as normal in the rules for an adventurer in chargen?

I have often thought about having Fps deducted as MPs are spent (possibly on a one for one basis), showing that casting tires one. As SDLeary says, one needs to be okay with the extra bookkeeping

Okay I suppose I do not have to post anything. I can stop bringing any of these items and ideas to others attention, ever, Well, that’s easy and is one solution though not one I like (and I am hoping others like me posting enough to not suggest that I stop posting to avoid spoilers)... but I suppose if I see no evil it will not exist. I am absolutely astonished that asking for two words two sets of () and a / be added if someone would like to be surprised or to hide a surprise is so hard to do.There is another solution. I do not have to read postings from folk I fear may use spoilers, but I realize too much would be lost by doing that, so I am not even contemplating such a drastic solution.

I almost had a great movie and my enjoyment of it lessened by a spoiler, I almost read the reveal but my spoiler-senses (c.f. spidey-senses) kicked in and I looked away from the post at the last second, I was about to post this response to the post (I finally read it about 10 minutes ago) in that other forum (Imagining Glorantha) but I had requested a return to topic in that resurrected excellent thread and Jeff cemented it by threatening to close it down Well I did not resurrect the thread just to have it shut sown , so, I brought it to where it belongs... the bar! Unfortunately it was a spoiler and by the very definininiton of a spoiler this is not revealed until the very end of the movie... (sorry Qizilbashwoman, this is not an attack on you nor is it simply a requests for respect for me I am asking you not to ruin the surprises I love! This is one of the reasons i watch movies) For the future all you have to do is hide it, I am glad I did not read until I had watched the film.
