  1. Because you are destroying Air for your own gain, which is the same as advancing entropy little by little.
  2. Hi there! Here's my opinion about the rules in the Mythras Companion. Do you disagree? 😋 Have you tried out the social conflict and/or the chase rules? (Happy New Year, BTW, and plenty of good games for all!)
  3. Jeff's unending teasers on FB The excellent Jonstown Compendium releases The art in The Red Book of Magic All the entries in the art contest in Wind Words #8
  4. For M-Space I guess I would use a mix of The Expanse TV show and the setting in Elevation.
  5. That would be great. Shannon Applecline might be tempted. 😛
  6. Perhaps @Jeff or @Jason D can help me with these questions: 1. Are all the Rune spells in The Red Book of Magic going to be included again with their descriptions in the upcoming Gods & Goddesses of Glorantha? Or only their names to save space? 2. Are there any Rune spells described in The Red Book of Magic belonging to cults that won't be described in the upcoming Gods & Goddesses of Glorantha? (But perhaps in much later publications?) 🤔
  7. One of the most famous prophecies is by the demi-goddess Cragspider. I believe she has prophetic powers because, being an incarnation of Aranea, she is also related to Arachne Solara in some way, and Arachne Solara is the mother of Time.
  8. The Pavis book being the exception. OK, and the Guide to Glamour. When the Nochet book is finally published, I guess we will get a description of the Lanbril cult in the city.
  9. Lanbril is popular in Pavis and other big cities. It's the god of thugs, thieves and urban organized crime, while Eurmal is the god of fools and buffoons.
  10. Hi, I've translated into English the combat example I wrote years ago: https://elruneblog.blogspot.com/2020/12/samurai-duel-combat-example-with-mythras.html I hope it can help starting GMs and players to get a better grasp of the rules. 😊
  11. Since he stole it from the Lunars, perhaps the "Red" part means the sword has some Lunar powers.
  12. @Gamesmeister if you are looking for the myth of the Lightbringers' Quest, you need to get a copy of either The Book of Heortling Mythology or the videogame King of Dragon Pass. The myth is described there, but you will need to turn it into playable material. The Short Lightbringers' Quest is also briefly described in pages 202-203 of Sartar: Kingdom of Heroes.
  13. I'd suggest the Path of the Goddess, where she was trapped in the Underworld by Chaos, and Yanafal Tarnils came to her rescue.
  14. How do you set the different blue dice buttons on the bottom left corner?
  15. Unless they are spirits with Rune points! Aha! 😄
  16. I guess the spirit can only harm one target with Spirit Combat, but it can still defend from attacks. So probably, after rolling Spirit Combat against the target it wants to harm, the other rolls are just to avoid harm, it can harm only one target per round. I guess that also applies to everyone engaged with more than one opponent in Spirit Combat.
  17. Like this in the case of Disruption: https://elruneblog.blogspot.com/2020/11/playing-runequest-glorantha-chaotic.html Sorry I don't have an example for a friend with True Sword helping Balgan, but perhaps I should add one once I have a clear picture of how that should work.
  18. Awesome! I love how Yara Aranis or Perhaps Sedenya gets her small corner on the front cover.
  19. For whoever is not on FB (lucky you!):
  20. In RQ3, objects had only armour points that you could reduce by surpassing them with the damage done to them. So for example, a castle door has 20 AP. The giant attacks and does 16 pts of damage. The door holds. Next turn, the giant does 22 damage, so the door has now 18 AP and it will be easier to break now, etc.
  21. I think this is what makes most sense. BTW, @Trotsky I have included Spirit Block in your play example about spirit combat, as it seemed odd that Balgan had forgotten about it. I hope you don't mind! https://elruneblog.blogspot.com/2020/11/playing-runequest-glorantha-chaotic.html 👈👻 I guess Korig could also have cast Bladesharp to help Balgan against the Chaos spirit, but he preferred to cast Disruption to maintain his distance. 😋
  22. Yes, have a look at the map of Boldhome in the inside cover of the printed RQG rulebook:
  23. Hi Yamsur, those maps are great. 😀👍 Have you worked out what every room contains (more or less)? I guess level 11 contains a Lunar shrine only until Temertain is killed. These maps would be great for creating a scenario were the PCs are the Humakti who went into the palace to kill the Prince.
