  1. That makes two of us. I already have Pete's Rome for BRP. Sell me Mythic Greece and I will be a happy man. ps - Pachristian you might want to look out for "Before Iron" from Nocturnal. It's also supposed to be a mythic Greece type sourcebook and it is supposed to come out this year...
  2. Thanks Clarence but if you downloaded the 1.9 version you might want to delete it and download the latest 2.0 version instead. Somehow I deleted about a paragraph of important text from the 1.9 version. Best regards!
  3. Okay guys and gals I screwed up when I uploaded version 1.9 of The Second Way so I am uploading a corrected copy version 2.0. As before these rules are inspired by Deep Magic and Ars Magica and tweak Deep Magic's spheres and glyphs and add rules for specifying spell range, area of effect and duration as well as for affecting mass, affecting character condition and casting spells against multiple targets. For maximum benefit I highly recommend readers purchase Chaosium's excellent Advanced Sorcery book. Changes include: Various typos corrected and clarfications made. Corrected numbers in range & cost tables. Added comments about magic batteries to the chronicler section. Added comments about the MP economy to the chronicler section. Added a description to the spell "Dip in the Pool". Replaced critical text accidentally deleted from version 1.9. You can find the rules in the download section at: Please let me know if you find errors or typos. Thanks, Ronnie
  4. Thanks Jeddak1! I will try to up the random fumble results in the next version release.

  6. Really enjoying your podcast by the way! Keep up the awesome work!
  7. Woo hoo! Got my book yesterday and skimmed through it. Looks good! I am going to enjoy this!
  8. I think he is referring to problems new GMs have when they first run BRP. I haven't played CoC (and don't know how it compares) but as a newbie myself I often forget to check for major wounds in combat. Also remember if a character should (in their society) be able to normally do something, don't make them roll for it. Took me a while to realize that...
  9. Okay I just ordered the hardcopy. I look forward to its arrival!
  10. Thank You! This is awesome news! I will pick up a copy!
  11. Interesting! I wonder how Stormbringer 5 did things? I assume it was like Elric but maybe it was like MW.
  12. Thanks all. I will check Magic World when I get home. I thought that greater demons likely cost more but I stand corrected.
  13. Okay I have a dumb question. On page 42 of Advanced Sorcery (lower left), it says that a bound demon counts against the binding sorcerer's INT-limit of memory... Does anyone know how much it counts? I read the the entire The Summoners Art chapter but can't find the answer... Thanks!
  14. How does it fit into the CoC setting? I only played CoC once but the setting was pretty far removed from what I think of as supers...
  15. Yeah at a minimum it probably makes sense to announce it on rpg.net, therpgsite, BRP Central and G+ communities. Heck I woul probably encourage a couple of the people that playtested the rules or otherwise bought a book to put up a review or start a thread on rpg.net.
  16. A few years ago I took one of my friends visiting from England to see the Spanish missions in San Antonio. If I remember correctly these were built around 1758 and represent some of the very oldest structures in the U.S. My friend seemed to enjoy visiting the sites but he was clearly not impressed. When I ask him about it he said he had been to pubs older than 1758 and they were much more nicely done. If I envy anything about the UK or Europe for that matter it's their history and culture.
