  1. Fallout character sheet up loaded. Hope someone can get some use out of it. Rod
  2. 862 downloads

This is a character sheet I made for my brother's BRP: Fallout game. Maybe someone else can get some use out of it as well. [url=http://basicroleplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1349]
  3. Downloads: A new file has been added by threedeesix: Fallout Character Sheet This is a character sheet I made for my brother's BRP: Fallout game. Maybe someone else can get some use out of it as well.
  4. No perks. We really just wanted it to be Basic Roleplaying in the Fallout setting so avoided any perks/traits. There is plenty of room for notes though so it wouldn't be a problem finding a place to list them. I get out of work in just under 45 minutes and will post when I upload the sheet. Rod
  5. Tonight when I get home from work I will upload the character sheet that I did for our BRP Fallout campaign. It might help people jump start their own games. Rod
  6. Remove Curse Class: Magic-user, Cleric Range: Touch Duration: Instantaneous Magic Point Cost per level: 1 Your character can use this spell to rid him or herself (or another target) of an ongoing negative effect, or curse. Like Countermagic, it must overcome the level of the curse on the resistance table. Remove Curse must be directed at a particular curse in effect on the target character. If the target is protected by Countermagic, it must get through the Countermagic as usual to have an effect on the target as intended. Purify Class: Cleric, Druid Range: Touch Duration: Permanent Magic Point Cost per Level: 1 This spell can be used to remove the effects of poison or disease on one living creature, or to make contaminated food and water pure and suitable to eat or drink. This will not prevent further natural decay however. Each level of this spell, if cast within 5 minutes of being afflicted, will reduce the disease or poison by 3 POT points. This spell will not restore hit points already lost, however it will restore 1 temporarily lost characteristic point per spell level due to the affliction. Permanently lost characteristics require the spell Restoration. Each level can also be used to purify enough food to feed a half-dozen people or purify 6 water skins worth of contaminated water. Thanks to Harshax for suggesting combining purify food and water and remove disease into one spell.
  7. This is really neat. I was planning on doing the same for Sword & Spell as soon as I finish writing it. Don't have much time at the moment. Considering I just finsihed the hopefully last version of the Sword & Spell character sheet, and it uses excel also, this should help as i'm not an excel master. Rod
  8. Those are all unrealistic aliens. Where are all the ones that look a human with a bony ridge on the forehead, a human with pointy ears, a human with little bumps on the nose, a human with different color skin, a human... But seriously, good stuff. Rod
  9. I'm kinda interested in Pulp Cthulhu, or Cthulhu Pulp, or whatever it's called. I love the pulps and I'm curious about just what it is going to entail. Rod
  10. It seems in just over a year we have lost quite a few of those behind the creation of the hobby we hold so dear to our hearts. You will all be missed. Rod
  11. Awesome, my character, Henry Noodleman intergalactic spy, has been immortalized as an example character. His legacy will live on. :thumb: Rodney
  12. I wanted to do this last year for Sword & Spell. A short dungeon crawl utilizing some of the new magic items, spells, spot rules, monsters etc. I would use pre-gen characters based on the iconic characters used throughout the examples from the book. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time and more than likely won't have the time now either. Really wanted to though. Rod
  13. The need to make his stuff your stuff. >:->
  14. I would love some adventures. Rod
  15. Free stuff rocks! Thanks Nick.
  16. I have a couple monsters that are designed to terrify mages, these do attack a characters power points. However, I allow both POW vs. POW and pp vs. pp to both allow the chance of a POW gain roll. After all, I personally believe that pp vs. pp is worse than POW vs POW, so why shouldn't it be rewarded? Rod
  17. I got me a collectors edition. Oh, wait a minute, this isnt some Wizards of the Coast type ploy is it? Version 1.5?
  18. I use Excel for all the character sheets I design. Here is an older version of the one i'm using for Sword & Spell. It was done just as soltakss suggested and I think it came out nicely. Character Sheet ver 2.7.pdf
  19. There is an optional rule that allows an extra attack at 100% skill, a third attack at 125%, fourth at 150%, etc. As for an extra attack for a high DEX, I think you can when using the Strike Rank system, but not sure as I don't use it. Rod
  20. See, even the spammer needs a proof reader. Rod
  21. Ok, it took a bit longer than I wanted, but I now have the Adventure Monograph. They all look great, but I have to say, Sarah's really excites me as one of my all time favorite games in my youth was gamma world. And boy was I surprised to find myself immortalized as an NPC in Trifs adventure, even got my INT right, spooky. I can’t wait to sit down and start reading these, as soon as Sword & Spell is done; I plan to run them all. Any idea if they plan on doing a print version? Now, why isnt this book sitting on the shelf next to the BRP core book? I mean, what a better way to show the versatility of BRP than with a book covering every genre from fantasy to Scifi, and everything in between. Rod - Threedeesix - Gambler - 17 INT
  22. Oh cool, I'm going to quote myself. You could figure that if the bow was taken from the corpse of a STR 11, SIZ 8 goblin with no damage bonus. The bow will give no bonus even in the hands of a STR 18, SIZ 16 barbarian. However, that same barbarian's bow will grant up to a +1D6 damage bonus (memory, not sure) to anyone able to achieve that normally. But no more if an ogre was to pick it up and use it. It's like the bow is rated for a certain damage bonus only and can do anything up to that but not exceed it. Does that make sense? Rod
  23. Except when you find that bow as treasure. It cant be "the right pull" for the halfling and the barbarian. Rod
