  1. A play-by-post forum would need some dice-rolling mechanism, wouldn't it? The software is hosted with invisionpower, so no third-party software can be added. I think we concluded that other sites do play-by-post better than we will be able to do, and dropped the ball at that last time this was up for discussion.
  2. The Gloranthan link list with links to gloranthan content on the web. The grand official Glorantha website on top, followed by by recent activity or very high content sites below, with a list of older fansites certainly also worth exploring below. Links to publications and fanzines are found in the Glorantha Publications thread and have been excluded from this list. Very low activity message groups have also been excluded. Note that to keep this thread focused on the link list, all but the latest posts will be hidden after they have been responded to.
  3. I've unhidden this one again. While it is free advertising, the Alastor's Skull subforum is for all the rest, and it is roleplaying related. So, all good!
  4. The Ctrl+Alt-click is certainly inobvious, wasn't aware of it myself. I've been deleting quotes by clicking the top gray border or the "click and drag to move"-symbol that appears in the upper left corner, and then pressing delete. Marking it and then trying to delete doesn't work as you say. Second point might seem to be a problem with ChromeOS and the forum software then. Later software update will hopefully fix it.
  5. Hmm... I've tried to reproduce the problems. The quotes reappear for me too, but can easily be deleted. The second problem I'm not able to reproduce at all. What browser did you use when you encounter this?
  6. It would be a shame if the content disappeared, so I'd go with K Peterson's suggestion if you need to save a bit on the hosting expenses.
  7. Make interesting, capable pregenerated characters and make full use of the GM screen. I'd try to keep some of the horror part as that's the trademark of CoC, but maybe reduce the amount of "investigation". I'd go with the 6th edition rules if that's what you have. D20 CoC is blasphemy!
  8. Thanks for the link! Just got a lot of props for Horror on the Orient Express from a Kickstarter, that page will come in handy when running it.
  9. Q1: Any changes to the BRP core skill system? Crits, specials, fumbles? How are opposed skills handled? Q2: How does the move from hit points affect combat? Are fights resolved faster or slower? Is it more deadly or less deadly for the players? Thanks for the interview clarence! I heard that Järn came from a BRP background, but not much more before now.
  10. I'll all for simple and intuitive rules that doesn't take up too much space. Is Järn only a system, or a setting too? Will we see a character sheet on the way?
  11. Unfortunately, after the last update I no longer have FTP access to the where the software is hosted. The forum is managed software and they've made this move for "security reasons". Thus I'm no longer able to upload big files. I'll try to find a workaround for this as soon as possible.
  12. "The chief Basic Roleplaying forum for the Great Family of D100 RPGs " is the description for this forum, so the post fits right in! Could you tell us a bit more about the stress and skill system?
  13. @styopa & @g33k : And let's leave it at that.
