rust Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 The picture does not show the 2.472 other trollkin only a few meters away from the scene ... Quote "Mind like parachute, function only when open." (Charlie Chan)
Sven Norén Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 The picture does not show the 2.472 other trollkin only a few meters away from the scene ... ...still trying to make their minds up whether to help or flee... Quote
Trifletraxor Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Evil poll! Quote Ef plest master, this mighty fine grub! 116/420. High Priest.
Thalaba Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 I thought it was a rat man, but anyway... People are overlooking that he's rather fashionably dressed and has a gold necklace. This would imply that he's not the average trollkin - there's more here than meets the eye. So I voted no. Al. Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Is he hells gonna die. You see that shadow? That's the only shadow. Mr Value Trickster Trollkin is about to let go of his mace and that Troll (or is it a Dragonewt?) is gonna be off balance and fly backwards into the Hallucination of a 9 point Sunspear right behind him. Quote Rule Zero: Don't be on fire
Thalaba Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Actually, now that you mention it, maybe that's the shadow of a large furry rock about to fall on both of them.... Quote "Tell me what you found, not what you lost" Mesopotamian proverb __________________________________
Vorax Transtellaris Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 (Up until now I had never even heared of a trollkin and assumed it was some kind of mutant rat guy.) The only thing that green thing has in its hands is the trollkin's weapon, so if the trollkin just lets go of it it can easily get away. It looks considerably faster and more agile than the green thing. Quote RPGbericht (Dutch)
kaddawang Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 My guess is that the camoflagued dwarf is going to get clobbered.. But I voted no. I think I owe that to Triff's avatar:p Quote
SDLeary Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 The picture does not show the 2.472 other trollkin only a few meters away from the scene ... But what about the 24.72 in the stack of bones behind the beastie? SDLeary Quote
Simlasa Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 He should be the example character for the rules descriptions... have him arm wrestle good ol' Burly Bob. Quote
dragonewt Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 What do you think? The trolkin will win if the green guy is a Yemalion Runelord. Quote
Pyronnic Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 That poor trollkin is doomed. If the critter doesn't get him, the matriarch of the troll clan will certainly smack him into the afterlife for letting the critter gnaw on Head-Masher, which is her favorite mace. Quote Pyronnic
RosenMcStern Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Trollkins always critical at the most appropriate time, so the guy will most likely survive. Quote Proud member of the Evil CompetitionTM
MrJealousy Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 I think the trollkin is winding up for a massive headbut. Quote Mr Jealousy has returned to reality!
threedeesix Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 (edited) I voted no because I think the picture is wholly misunderstood. I don't think they're enemies, I think the big slobbering green thing is the little guys pet and it's got his favorite mace in his mouth. We role players think everything is about violence. "Toby..., gimmee... my... mace!" Edit: The games even called D100 Rules, rule #1, stop slobberin on my mace. Sven Norén Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 Please note: the rock lizard is chewing on the mace, not on the trollkin. It obviously prefer the crunchiness of a wooden mace haft over the skin and bones of a lousy trollkin. And who knows what said trollkin has been eating? Huh?? Do you really want to know??? Quote
pulpcitizen Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 I voted no. One always has to root for the little guy... Quote Very slowly working towards completing my monograph.

Atgxtg Posted November 7, 2009 Posted November 7, 2009 Of course the Trollkin is going to die. Maybe not right now, but eventually... barring an really rare Chaotic Feature. Quote Chaos stalks my world, but she's a big girl and can take of herself.
Rurik Posted November 9, 2009 Author Posted November 9, 2009 Of course the Trollkin is going to die. Maybe not right now, but eventually... barring an really rare Chaotic Feature. Good Point! You should vote on it my good man! Those who believe in immortal trollkin have recently taken the lead. Quote Help kill a Trollkin here.
rust Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 I think this specific Cover Trollkin has already entered the Trollkin Hall of Fame and become immortalized by now ... Quote "Mind like parachute, function only when open." (Charlie Chan)

Agentorange Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 I'm with the school of thought that says the dragonewt, er, that is, big green thing is actually his pet and just doesn't want to let go of it's stick. So I voted no. Quote
